Lake Pradeilles, or “Estany de la Pradella” in Catalan, is the perfect spot to spend a day with the family and enjoy the vibrant colors of this natural gem. Surrounded by pine trees and broom, admire the Pics Pérics in the distance and take advantage of the many rock formations for a picnic.

You’re sure to be amazed, as it covers an area of 149 hectares! The lake and its surroundings have been a designated nature reserve since 1976, ensuring that its natural riches and heritage are preserved. It’s the perfect playground for a day of family hiking.

The hiking trail to Lake Bouillouses remains accessible. A specially marked trail will lead you to the protected natural site.

- Take our Airelles Express gondola from downtown, then our free shuttle, which will drop you off at the base of our chairlift to reach the high-altitude lakes and enjoy stunning scenery along the way!
- Take the Belvédère chairlift, which drops you off at Col de Pam, then follow the PR and GR10 hiking trails.
- Your four-legged friends are welcome! They can ride the chairlifts in a pet carrier (fee: €2). During the hike, please keep them on a leash for everyone’s safety.
Enjoy the thrill of cycling on our southern slopes
Even under the summer sun, riders will be able to enjoy all that nature has to offer!
Whether on a mountain bike or a regular bike, starting from Calme Sud, or via the Airelles Express gondola from downtown, head up to the peaks of Roc de la Calme using the chairlift equipped with bike racks and enjoy the descents on the south face along the FFC trails that await you!
The Belvédère chairlift is operating for the first time during the summer season, offering exclusive access to one of the region’s gems: the high-altitude lakes and other iconic hikes of Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000!
Mountain bikers, you can now reach the Roc de la Calme more easily from Pyrénées 2000, thanks to the Belvédère chairlift equipped with bike racks.

Practical information
Don't forget:
- Check the weather forecast before you leave.
- Wear suitable footwear for a carefree ride.
- Take something to cover yourself with as the weather changes very quickly in the mountains.
- To bring sun protection equipment (goggles/sun cream/cap).
- To check the time of the last departure of the Calme Nord chairlift (in case of a storm).

Safety information for children
- For safety reasons, children under 1 year old are not allowed on the chairlifts.
- Children between 1 and 3 years of age must be carried in a "baby carrier" backpack, proof of the child's age may be required.
Baby backpacks can be hired from the destination's partners or available on loan at the La Calme ticket office (please note that numbers are limited). Baby wraps are not accepted.
